The Role
Zultys is expanding its sales organization. We need experienced candidates with a successful track record as a Regional Sales Manager selling hosted and/or premise-based Unified Communications and Contact Center solutions. The Heartland Regional Sales Manager is responsible for expanding sales with existing partners and agents in North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas, Iowa, and Missouri. It also involves recruiting new partners and agents into our channel, traveling to partner company locations to work with them on establishing objectives, and creating plans to facilitate partner success. This role requires technology sales experience, ideally in the Channel.
Responsibilities
- Consistently achieve or exceed assigned quotas
- Actively recruit qualified partners and agents in a specified geographic territory
- Participate in training and launch of existing and newly recruited partners
- Develop a business plan with partners and agents and then work with them throughout the year to execute a game plan, including quarterly business reviews to make sure there is adequate combined focus to generate the intended results
- Pipeline and opportunity management
- Quarterly and monthly forecasts, updated weekly
- Participate in product demonstrations
- Assist in closing end-user deals
- Heavy travel in your region to represent Zultys at tradeshows and sales meetings
- Contributing to and building the regional business plan
Requirements
- Must reside in the Heartland territory, preferably in Missouri, Kansas, or Colorado near a major airport
- Premise or hosted Unified Communications (UCaaS), IP telephony, or SaaS sales experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of selling high-value, complex solutions
- Significant travel
- Strong relationship-building skills and networking experience
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to help partners understand products and where they fit in an opportunity
- Strong knowledge of the UCaaS marketplace and agent community
- Understanding how Unified Communications can fit into any business and help improve productivity
- Proven track record of success in previous, similar roles
- A self-starter attitude, creativity, and curiosity with the focus and openness it takes to work independently and collaboratively across the business
